Elton John has just announced that he is retiring to spend more time with his family. But while that time comes, which will be in 2020, the British singer-songwriter has run away with her husband, David Furnish, and their children, Zachary and Elijah, seven and five years old, to Rome to celebrate her 71st birthday.
The John Furnish have taken advantage of these days to tour the most emblematic places of the Italian capital and even followed the tradition of throwing coins in the Fontana di Trevi.
They also visited the famous Spanish Steps, where the children leaned dangerously to the wall from above and, therefore, received the reprimand of a police officer. Afterwards, everyone went shopping in the luxurious Via Condotti.
After a busy morning of visits and shopping, the family decided to regain strength in a ‘ristorante’. They chose the terrace to eat and Zachary, seven years old, who went by the hand of Elton, was in charge of choosing the table where the family sat.
